Has been involved in the golf industry for nearly 35years 26 as a professional. His strong reputation as a first class instructor is a result of his excellent understanding of teaching methods developed over many years.
Martin has played in exhibition matches with David Gilford and Andrew Murray (both European open winners )and has also had the honor of partnering HRH The Duke of York , Prince Andrew on a number of occasions
Prior to have the calling of coming to Asia to coach Martin was Director of Golf at Kingswood Golf Club, Surrey, England (venue of the Ladies European Open and Big Corporate Company days) and was the club professional at Reigate Hill Golf Club Surrey, England
Martin Platts P.G.A. has been coaching on the Island of Phuket for the last 8 years (5 years at Blue Canyon and the last 3 years at the Golf Guru Driving Range) and has been a British golf professional for the last 26 years.
